After a long nursing career I could no longer tolerate the for profit hospitals so about five years ago I retired and decided to become a real estate agent. Since I waited so long to start this new career I have taken practically every class that has become available and as a result have three designations. My designations are ABR (Acredited Buyer Representative), SRS (Sellere Representative Specialist), and SRES ( Senior Real Estate Specialist. Let me introduce myself...I am Jean Begovich (My friends and family call me "Jeannie"). I grew up on a ranch in Kenner, Louisiana when Kenner was country. I was the daughter of a poor farmer/rancher; one of three girls. I have always loved the "country" feel, and that is why I live and love St. Tammany Parish. I am often described as a happy and always smiling person; someone who looks at everything through "rose colored glasses", and have always been accused of being an "Annie." That is why I chose the slogan (by unknown author), "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain." And that is exactly what I am doing...by reentering the real estate profession at a time when others are getting out! Well, here I am; working full time as a Realtor and loving it!
